Ken Burke is the Chairman, Founder, & Chief Evangelist of MarketLive, Inc. Ken founded the company as Multimedia Live in 1995 with only $500 in start-up money, and under his guidance it has grown into a leading provider of e-commerce software and related solutions. Inspired by strategies and business methods from the cataloging and direct marketing world, Burke masterminded the creation of the MarketLive® Intelligent Selling® System, MarketLive's enterprise-class e-commerce application designed to optimize all selling opportunities, build solid relationships with customers, and give merchants complete control over their online merchandising. A recognized e-commerce industry pioneer and visionary, Ken writes quarterly columns for Multi-Channel Merchant and Target Marketing magazines, and is often quoted in Internet Retailer and other industry publications. A dynamic and popular speaker, he is a regular contributor at retail and direct marketing events. Ken is also the author of the book Intelligent Selling®: The Art & Science of Selling Online. He studied multimedia and the Internet at the University of Southern California, where he completed a BA in Marketing and earned honors as an MBA graduate in Venture Management and Entrepreneurship.

Mark Pierce

Mark comes to MarketLive as a senior executive with significant experience in operations, finance, eCommerce strategy and application development. Before joining MarketLive, Mark led application development and management consulting firm Pinnacle Rock Associates through a steep and rapid growth in annual revenue, resulting in the sale of the company to a major eCommerce development firm. Prior to Pinnacle Rock, Mark was Executive Vice President in charge of the western region for marchFIRST. Mark led this approximately 1000-employee organization in creating eCommerce businesses for companies such as JC Penney, Williams-Sonoma, Adidas, American Airlines, Mazda of America, and The SABRE Group. In a previous position, Mark was responsible for marchFIRST's global management consulting practice. Before joining marchFIRST, Mark was a Partner at Prophet Brand Strategy in San Francisco, where he led Internet and brand strategy engagements for clients including Levi Strauss & Co., The SABRE Group, Discovery Channel, and Williams-Sonoma. Mark also spent three years with Accenture's Strategic Services working with clients such as Nike, Starbucks, Levi's, and Cisco Systems. Before beginning the consulting phase of his career, Mark was a Group Operations Executive with Procter and Gamble. Additionally, Mark is the founder of Archetype-Solutions, a software company providing mass-customization outsourcing for the apparel market. Mark received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and an MBA from St. Mary's College.

Bob Cohn
Bob Cohn is an independent investor and advisor to growing companies. He founded Octel Communications Corporation and served as its Chairman and CEO, and then as Executive Vice President at Lucent Technologies, Inc. He has served on the boards of Octel, Trimble Navigation, Electronic Arts, Ashford.com, Digital Domain, Right Hemisphere, and Adomo. For three years he was a member of the Board of Governors of NASDAQ and served on NASDAQ’s Executive Committee. He was a member of the Advisory Council of the Stanford Graduate School of Business and has previously been a member of the American Business Conference, the Council of Competitiveness, and the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. He served on a CEO advisory board to the Secretary of Defense and was a partner with Sequoia Capital for two years. Mr. Cohn holds a BS degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Florida and an MBA from Stanford University.

Toby Lenk
President, GAP Inc. Direct
Toby Lenk is President of Gap Inc. Direct, a division of Gap Inc. In this role, Toby is responsible for the direction and management of the company's online businesses for Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy. He also oversees the company's customer call centers and online distribution operations located near Columbus, Ohio. Toby joined the company in April 2003. Previously, he was founder and CEO of eToys, an Internet-based retailer that he launched in 1997. Before founding eToys, Toby was Vice President of Corporate Strategic Planning for The Walt Disney Company. He earned an M.B.A. from Harvard and a B.A. in Economics and Government from Bowdoin College in Maine.

Douglas Leone

Doug is a venture capitalist at Sequoia Capital focusing on internet, software and communication investments. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 1988, Doug held sales and sales management positions at Sun Microsystems, Hewlett-Packard and Prime Computer. Douglas has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, an MS in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University, and an MS in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Bob Spinner

Bob works with several Sigma portfolio companies helping them increase revenue while expanding their operations. Prior to joining Sigma, Bob was President and CEO of Extensity. During his tenure, Extensity grew from $1M to $35M while raising money through private funding and an Initial Public Offering. In March of 2003, Extensity was sold to GEAC. Prior to Extensity, Bob was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and International Operations at Clarify, a leading provider of integrated CRM solutions. During his tenure at Clarify, he grew the company from $10M to $140M in revenue while managing a worldwide organization of 260 professionals. Prior to Clarify, Bob served in expanding roles at Sybase including working as the director of one of Sybase's most successful regions. Bob has also held technical roles at ADR and Chevron, including sales engineer, programmer and database administrator. Bob received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
