Mark Pierce

Mark comes to MarketLive as a senior executive with significant experience in operations, finance, eCommerce strategy and application development. Before joining MarketLive, Mark led application development and management consulting firm Pinnacle Rock Associates through a steep and rapid growth in annual revenue, resulting in the sale of the company to a major eCommerce development firm. Prior to Pinnacle Rock, Mark was Executive Vice President in charge of the western region for marchFIRST. Mark led this approximately 1000-employee organization in creating eCommerce businesses for companies such as JC Penney, Williams-Sonoma, Adidas, American Airlines, Mazda of America, and The SABRE Group. In a previous position, Mark was responsible for marchFIRST's global management consulting practice. Before joining marchFIRST, Mark was a Partner at Prophet Brand Strategy in San Francisco, where he led Internet and brand strategy engagements for clients including Levi Strauss & Co., The SABRE Group, Discovery Channel, and Williams-Sonoma. Mark also spent three years with Accenture's Strategic Services working with clients such as Nike, Starbucks, Levi's, and Cisco Systems. Before beginning the consulting phase of his career, Mark was a Group Operations Executive with Procter and Gamble. Additionally, Mark is the founder of Archetype-Solutions, a software company providing mass-customization outsourcing for the apparel market. Mark received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and an MBA from St. Mary's College.

Ken Burke
Chairman, Founder, & Chief Evangelist, MarketLive
Ken Burke is the Chairman, Founder, & Chief Evangelist of MarketLive, Inc. Ken founded the company as Multimedia Live in 1995 with only $500 in start-up money, and under his guidance it has grown into a leading provider of e-commerce software and related solutions. Inspired by strategies and business methods from the cataloging and direct marketing world, Burke masterminded the creation of the MarketLive® Intelligent Selling® System, MarketLive's enterprise-class e-commerce application designed to optimize all selling opportunities, build solid relationships with customers, and give merchants complete control over their online merchandising. A recognized e-commerce industry pioneer and visionary, Ken writes quarterly columns for Multi-Channel Merchant and Target Marketing magazines, and is often quoted in Internet Retailer and other industry publications. A dynamic and popular speaker, he is a regular contributor at retail and direct marketing events. Ken is also the author of the book Intelligent Selling®: The Art & Science of Selling Online. He studied multimedia and the Internet at the University of Southern California, where he completed a BA in Marketing and earned honors as an MBA graduate in Venture Management and Entrepreneurship.

Marty Boos
Chief Information Officer
Marty Boos is responsible for all operations related to MarketLive Managed Services & Hosting services as well as the company's internal IT support. Marty joins MarketLive with over 25 years of experience in IT with proven experience in delivering highly scalable, secure, cost-effective, and available IT environments for retailers and retail service providers. His expertise helps MarketLive deliver an enhanced IT experience to its customers, allowing them to focus all of their efforts on marketing and selling, rather than on IT issues. Marty joins us from Motorola/Good Technology where he was the CIO and was responsible the Network Operations Center. In his last 6 months at Good, he maintained 100% availability for a customer base of 14,000 enterprise accounts and over 400,000 users. While at Good he introduced a MDU (Minimum Downtime Upgrades) architecture which reduced scheduled system outages due to software/hardware upgrades from two hours per month to less than 15 minutes per quarter. Prior to Motorola/Good, Marty was the CIO/CTO at Digital River. In his seven year tenure at Digital River, the company grew from $2m to $220M in revenue. While at Digital River he designed and managed the infrastructure for 40,000 hosted e-commerce web sites transacting over $2B/year. He launched five world-class data centers and maintained 99.98% uptime with world-wide web page latency of less than two seconds. Marty also spent 10 years in technical consulting, including work with Best Buy, Target Corporation, Fingerhut companies and MCC Behavioral Health Care.

Ralf VonSosen
Vice President, Product Management & Marketing
Ralf VonSosen brings over 12 years of enterprise software and ecommerce solution product management, marketing, and product strategy experience to MarketLive. A veteran of the software industry, Ralf has successfully delivered product leadership, competitive advantage, partner ecosystems, and solution positioning in both early stage and enterprise environments. Prior to joining MarketLive, Ralf was Vice President of Products & Marketing at Infopia, an ecommerce platform provider, where he led the solution expansion, alliances network, and positioning of Infopia as a leader in the SMB ecommerce market. Prior to this he held several leadership positions in CRM enterprise software, including Vice President of Solution Marketing at SAP and Director of Product Marketing at Siebel where led product strategy, delivery & launch, positioning, and marketing & sales support. Ralf holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University and a MBA from the University of Utah.

Heather McKelvey
Vice President, Engineering
Heather brings over 20 years of software engineering leadership to MarketLive, where she is responsible for the full product lifecycle: from inception, through development and roll out of new products. Heather joined MarketLive in November 2004 and spearheaded the development of the MarketLive 5 platform. Prior to MarketLive, Heather held Sr. Management positions at AOL, Netscape. At Netscape Heather was responsible for architecture and development of the Netscape application server products. Upon AOL 's acquisition of Netscape, Heather led a team of 90+ developers, launching highly scalable, internet application services to 30 million subscribers world wide.

James Miller
Senior Vice President, Client Services
James comes to MarketLive with more than 20 years of technology delivery experience. As a Partner at Accenture, James delivered customer facing solutions for technology clients such as Cisco, PeopleSoft, Mercury, NetApp, HP and Sun. He was a founding member of Accenture's Customer Relationship Management practice in 1995 and helped develop Accenture's Siebel practice into what 10 years later was a $500M per year services business. He led a 2.5 year iniitiative beginning in 1999 to build a custom B2B ecommerce solution for Cadence. Near the end of his tenure at Accenture, James spent 1.5 years building the Salesforce.com practice within Accenture's high technology group. After Accenture, James spent 3 years at sales BPO company ServiceSource where he was VP of Client Delivery for Strategic Accounts including Sun and HP. At ServiceSource, James was P&L owner for a $25M services business, grew revenue and profit by more than 40%, and managed a multi-site service delivery organization of 60. James' relentless drive to maximize customer value coupled with his strong leadership and relationship management experience will help MarketLive achieve increasing levels of customer satisfaction. James received his BS in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Arizona State University.
